Well, I am the first to admit that if you don’t properly train for a race, then you shouldn’t overdo it. And I knew this going into the Princess Half Marathon. I knew that I had not put in the time or the effort I should have. I also knew that I could finish the Princess Half Marathon but I would have to walk it and not try and run no matter how good I felt on the course. Thank goodness I listened to my own advice, well sort of!
It’s my delight to introduce a guest blogger, Linda McDonald of Life on Summerhill. Linda is a wife, mom, interior designer, blogger, and jack of all trades, no really just ask her! She is married to a man who has a back country slang sense of humor and they have two very active teenage girls. Also in this cute little house on a hill they a strange lookin’ cat named Stinkerbell and their floppy rabbit Eugene Flynn Fitzherbert. She has lived in Florida her entire life…and she just happens to be my Aunt!
Linda writes about home decor, organizing and storage ideas. But recently we traveled to Walt Disney World and I got to experience what it would be like to eat at Disney with a food allergy. So I asked her to write about it so we could share it with all of you, beautiful people.
So without further ado, heeeeeerrrrrreeeee’s Linda!
Traveling and food go together like spaghetti and meatballs unless you have a food allergy. People with allergies don’t always find food to be fun. I learned this several years ago when I kept getting sick and eventually was diagnosed with a gluten and dairy allergy.
Did you think this was going to be a post about the elections? Well, this politico is keeping her political opinions to herself. Isn’t that what is great about democracy? Today I am here to give you a little bit of hope and wonder no matter who you voted for! Let’s go to my happy place… Walt Disney World!!!
What do you think about when someone says Disney World is the most magical place on earth? Apparently, Disney thinks of imagination, hopes, and dreams. Thank goodness for Disney’s Imagineering! Because of Disney, I think of princesses and castles and fairy godmothers. I tend to find a magical twist on everything in life. What about you?
