We recently stayed somewhere new one a quick trip down to Walt Disney World. And I just had to share it with you guys! When anyone asks me where to stay when traveling to Disney, I usually tell them any of the Disney resorts are amazing and have so many amenities that it makes it worth the little extra cost. Well tonight I have a new place that I will start recommending. Introducing the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek Resort!
I had been here once before when my brother in law and his wife stayed a couple of years ago. But only to visit and I thought it was really nice and truthfully, out of my price range. On this trip this hotel was chosen because of a conference. And thankfully my husband’s secretary goes out of her way to make our stay comfortable whenever Bubba and I travel with the hubby!
When we arrived it was right around dinner time. Our bellman was so personable and made sure we knew about all of the food options available in the hotel. But the selling point was that there was a restaurant by the pool and you could see the Epcot fireworks from here. SOLD!! Bubba isn’t a fan of the fireworks when we are so close to them. This was a perfect opportunity for him to see them far away. Which as you can see below, he loved it!
After our dinner and fireworks show, we headed up to our room. Bubba and I had an early day scheduled to visit Mickey’s Castle aka Magic Kingdom. One neat thing about our room was that I didn’t even have to pull out Bubba’s cot. If you do have a toddler and travel a lot, check this thing out. We love it and use it everywhere we go and it folds up to the size of a captain’s chair! Back to the room, we actually had bunk beds in the room. Bubba at first thought it was a jungle gym, so we had to fix it where he couldn’t climb up to the second level. It also has a tv in the small room on the wall so he could watch a Disney movie while I watched something else in the main room. I can’t wait to stay here again when we either have more kids or bring along a friend or family member. Very cool in my book!!!
We loved exploring the grounds and checking out all this hotel had to offer…and you should too on your next trip!
PS…I was not compensated for this post. These opinions are all my own.
