What do you think about when someone says Disney World is the most magical place on earth? Apparently, Disney thinks of imagination, hopes, and dreams. Thank goodness for Disney’s Imagineering! Because of Disney, I think of princesses and castles and fairy godmothers. I tend to find a magical twist on everything in life. What about you?
The Walt Disney Company is always looking for ways to enhance and improve their parks. From 2012 to 2014, Fantasyland at Walt Disney World underwent an expansion that nearly doubled its size and added new attractions. Attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Storybrook Circus, Beast’s Castle, and Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. But they still kept my classic favorites, It’s A Small World and Peter Pan’s Flight. And don’t worry, Dumbo is still there as well. They just added two of him and an interactive queue so the lines are shorter. If you would like more information on the rides in Magic Kingdom, here are my Top 10 Attractions for Toddlers at Magic Kingdom. These were our favorite rides when our little man was a toddler. It’s A Small World is still one of his favorites!
Here is a land of imagination, hopes and dreams. In this timeless land of enchantment the age of chivalry, magic and make-believe are reborn and fairy tales come true. Fantasyland is dedicated to the young and the young at heart, to those who believe that when you wish upon a star your dreams do come true. – Walter E. Disney, July 17, 1955
If you are headed to Walt Disney World (take me with you!) in the near future, make sure and check out the largest expansion ever at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It is sure to spark your whimsical side and take you back to a time when you were without a care in the world.
And we thought Minnie Mouse was little man’s first love! I wonder if he will find his true love in glass slippers…
