Let’s face it, Disney knows how to do movies!! If you ever wanted to see it up close or learn how they do it, then Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the place for you. And what toddler doesn’t love Disney Junior?? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is our favorite at the moment but we can sit and watch all of those great shows.
If you have a toddler that loves animation… or an adult, you can’t go wrong here. We have been a couple of times and it is a great park to do in half a day. If you have older children then you could easily spend a full day here. Below are some recommendations for attractions that are great for toddlers.
- Disney Junior Live on Stage – Want a chance to see some of the hottest Disney Junior Shows live? Don’t miss this chance to see Princess Sofia, Doc McStuffins and Jake in this live show with characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It is an interactive show with music, dancing and magic! This is our favorite and we always get to meet some great characters nearby. Bubba has had the chance to meet Handy Manny and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates at this location.
- Voyage of the Little Mermaid – Take a voyage undersea to meet Ariel and her friends. This show recreates parts of the movie with live clips, special effects, live performers and puppets. The first time we saw this show it was a little loud for Bubba, but by the end of it he really enjoyed the music and performances. I loved it, since I grew up watching The Little Mermaid and love Sebastian!
- Toy Story Midway Mania – Enter into the world of toys on this ride through a virtual compilation of carnival games. Keep an eye out for characters from the Toy Story trilogy during the ride. Bubba is a huge Toy Story fan so he loves this ride and is a must every time we go to this park!
We love this park because there are also plenty of places for kids to run around and let off steam. Bubba is not a fan of being cooped up or standing in line. See the map below to find other areas of the park for your little mouseketeers to explore!
