So on our last Disney trip I swear Flik and Princess Atta were playing around with our My Disney Experience app. I know what you are thinking… our resident Disney addict is about to say something negative about her happy place. Never!! I just don’t want you to make the same mistakes I made on our last trip. It was still magical but it was like being on a roller coaster. I actually apologized to a cast member because I lost my cool and yelled at her! And when your kid tells Tinkerbell that we are there because she is going to make your mom happy, it is time to take a deep breath and inhale the magic
Magic Kingdom – Best Rides for Toddlers
I always get asked is there enough to do at Magic Kingdom for our littlest mouseketeers? Really? This is a place the lures you in with a giant mouse! Of course there is something for everyone of all ages and sizes!
So you have decided to plan your first trip to Disney World and aren’t sure where to start. My first suggestion is to check Disney’s Magical Beginnings Guide. [Read more…]
Disney’s Magical Beginnings Guide
If you asked me to help you plan your first Disney trip, the first thing I would send you is Disney’s Magical Beginnings Guide. I found this while I was researching for our first trip and have used it every trip since. The Magical Beginnings Guide breaks down each park and only shows you recommended attractions for 5 years old and below. So now I am passing along to you my ace in the hole! [Read more…]
Guest Posting – Disney Perks
You all know I love me some Disney, seriously who doesn’t!! And I love to pass on my knowledge to anyone that will listen. So I had the opportunity recently to help out my sister by guest posting on her website. She is also a mommy blogger, but a longer more well established blogger than I am. Her and her husband recently bought their first home. And if it isn’t hard enough to move, try juggling a one and two year old and a husband who can’t take time off because it is football season and he works for an NFL team! So she asked me to write a few posts on my Disney experiences to help her out while they moved. Here is the most recent post and please check out her website The Uncoordinated Mommy for my other guest posts.
Disney in a day!
Last week my husband let me know on Saturday that he had a conference he had to attend in Orlando. And the conference was that very next Tuesday. Anyone up for a day trip to Disney World?? So of course I worded my response in a question and a way that he couldn’t say no for us to tag along.
Me: You wouldn’t mind if Bubba and I tagged along right? I mean since we have an annual pass to Disney and we want to get the most out of our money right??? Hubby: No I guess it would be ok, but I won’t even be in Orlando 24 hours. Me: Not a problem, I don’t need 24 hours at Disney!
Bubba was so excited about going to see Mickey Mouse! I think he thought the mouse was going to great us at the hotel. As we arrived to the hotel at midnight, luckily there weren’t many people in the lobby because he was running around asking “We go to Mickey’s castle now??” Of course my response was “Mickey Mouse is already asleep tonight, so we need to get to bed and we will go see Mickey Mouse first thing in the morning.” Not what Bubba wanted to hear!
He didn’t fall asleep until sometime after 1am. Then he proceeded to try and push my husband off the bed all night long. I am not sure what time my husband’s alarm went off the next morning but it was way too early. And I have never moved so fast to shut it off before it woke up Bubba! Luckily he slept until 8-8:30 and we were on our way to Disney World sometime around 10am.
